New Haven, Connecticut

Kyle and I visited New Haven on our way to Asheville, NC. My Dad went to school here for culinary arts. I was very impressed with the Yale University campus. The architecture was very ornate. However, I was not impressed with the city itself. There are many homeless people who are addicted to drugs everywhere.

•New Haven had the first public tree planting program in America. New Haven has the nickname, “The Elm City” because there are some large Elm trees in the city.

•In 2011, New Haven became the 4th most dangerous city in the United States according to the 24/7 Wall Street Blog.
